Details
We need umpires for our Minors and Majors games on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively. We are hoping to get umps behind the plate this year, with Majors also having a field umpire to assist. Games are no more than 2 hours. Pay is $50 for the home plate umpire and $40 for the field umpire.
Game Day
Please arrive a few minutes early to meet the coaches and get set up. There is designated umpire parking by the blue building (concessions stand).
Here are the typical coaches question that always come up, plus detailed rules:
Majors (5th & 6th grades):
no new inning after 1 hour 30 minutes, hard stop at 2 hours
maximum 5 runs per half inning
pitchers maximum of 2 innings or 65 pitches
runners must slide for plays at the plate, and batters must step away, or the runner is out.

Minors (3rd & 4th grades):

maximum 5 runs per half inning
pitchers maximum of 2 innings
only steal him on pass ball / wild pitch

We utilize umpires in our Minors and Majors divisions. Our season runs from May 1 - June 31 and game are typically Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There will be one set of Saturday games on May 6.
