Positions & Responsibilities

President/President-elect

  • General organization oversight

  • Oversee legal/organization activities

    • Insurance

    • Background checks

    • Filings

  • Motivation and friendly face to families

  • Represent AYB to community

  • Interface with other sports & community organizations

Treasurer

  • Maintain the books

  • Report on finances

  • Strategize efficient use of money

Division Directors

  • Line up team coaches

  • Communicate rules and expectations

  • Manage drafts or team assignments

  • Ensure teams know what is happening

  • Handle any disagreements or questions within division as they arise

Director of Registration

  • Manage registration software application

  • Field family questions

Director of Sponsorship

  • Manage sponsorship levels and setup

  • Contact past and potential sponsors for participation

Director of Fundraising

  • Manage fundraising like selling cards

  • Innovate on new opportunities

Director of Scheduling

  • Design practice and game schedule
    Decide and communicate weather cancellations (with President and VPs)

Director of Equipment

  • Manage distribution and collection of gear to coaches

  • Purchases needed equipment

Director of Facilities

  • Maintain field maintenance plan

  • Communicate between Hunziker Youth Sports Complex and the Board to ensure need get done

Director of Umpires

  • Facilitate umpire scheduling

Director of Communications/Social Media

  • Website information management

  • Social media management

Apparel Director

  • Coordinate jersey orders

  • Coordinate spirit store if needed

Player/Family Agent

  • Communicate important dates

  • Organize evaluations

Coaches Agent

  • Help construct practice plans

  • Communicate important dates
